Manage, write, design and create Forward Momentum Chicago’s first-ever Impact Report.
About the Organization
Forward Momentum Chicago (FMC) was part of WU!’s final cohort of partner organizations (2025–26). FMC empowers Chicagoland youth in schools and communities with limited arts access by utilizing dance to build lifelong skills that foster pathways to success.
About the Design
WU! provided comprehensive support on this project, including copywriting, project management, and graphic design. Our talented team collaborated with FMC to develop a timeline, gather content and stories, write the initial draft, create a visual language, and move the entire product through the review and revision to completion.
Leveraged Impact
On the strength of the report and its storytelling, FMC reported some immediate and meaningful results:
A longtime donor increased their giving from $500–$1,000 annually to a $5,000 sponsorship after engaging with the report
A corporate-matched individual gift increased by $2,500, bringing that total commitment to $25,000
Increased community engagement, including a supporter hosting a salon focused on introducing new audiences to FMC
Growing interest from families, school partners, and community members who want connect with the organization
