Where do you work?
As an Events and Marketing Project Manager [currently contracting with McDonald’s and ADM] I specialize in turning strategic ideas into seamless, high-impact experiences. I lead end-to-end planning across conferences, brand activations, and campaigns—managing timelines, budgets, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution. With a strong foundation in marketing and communications, I align event strategy with brand storytelling and audience engagement goals. I thrive at the intersection of logistics and creativity, delivering experiences that are both thoughtfully produced and results-driven.
How long have you been involved with Women Unite!?
I am a new Board Member as of February 2026.
What do you like most about Women Unite!?
I was drawn to the organization with the community development that WU! is engaged in helping non-profits with fundraising but also long lasting plans for engagement and development.
What’s an issue you care deeply about?
As a minority woman that grew up on the Southside of Chicago and a product of CPS, I deeply care about education and youth advocacy. It is important to be a voice for those that are in underserved communities to give them access but also to the youth that think they aren’t able to speak up on their own. I enjoy mentoring, offering guidance, and giving youth insight to a world they may not traditionally be exposed to.
What’s a hobby you have?
Not sure if it’s a hobby, but I’ve been researching and studying materials—clothing and jewelry. It is exciting to me because I am exploring the idea of opening an online boutique.
What gives you hope?
I am given hope when I see people passionate about others and their community. It shows that however alone or isolated one may feel, there’s always someone willing to walk this thing called life with you.
What are 2–3 ways you’ve been getting through the fall of late-stage capitalism?
I’ve been reading about 2–3 books a month and not engaging as much with social media and the news.
Fun/random fact you want to share?
I’m an only child on both sides.
What’s one of your favorite local businesses?
My nail tech (SeeJéSlay) and hair salon (Three Salon and Studio).
