Where do you work?
I work for Adobe as a Customer Success Manager. I’m a strategic advisor and advocate for our customers, helping them achieve the full value of their Adobe investments.
How long have you been involved with Women Unite!?
I learned about Women Unite! by way of Chicago United Solidarity Project where I did some volunteer work over the last few years and I joined the WU! board at the end of 2025.
What do you like most about Women Unite!?
I was drawn to WU! first because it is fully women-run and operated and I also love the fact that I can support many different types of organizations in my community through WU!
What’s an issue you care deeply about?
Where to even start … I think for me it’s just the overall idea that all people should have access to basic necessities—housing, food, safety. The amount of folks that are unhoused in our city and the levels of food insecurity are unacceptable and I believe that providing people with the basic necessities to survive is the first step in working through a lot of the other issues our city faces.
What’s a hobby you have?
I love to weightlift! It keeps my body strong, my brain regulated, and helps me get out my rage. I’ve met a lot of very cool people through it too, and it’s become a whole community for me.
What gives you hope?
Witnessing acts of kindness—small or large—in my day to day. There are so many people out there helping their neighbors and even strangers in various ways and it’s encouraging to notice those things.
What are 2–3 ways you’ve been getting through the fall of late-stage capitalism?
I love to escape this reality by reading fiction—I recently read and loved The Midnight Library and The Song of Achilles, and right now I’m in the middle of the new Emily Henry book. Me and my partner are also really into Jeopardy so we watch that every night to dissociate for a bit.
Fun/random fact you want to share?
I played water polo in college and I actually didn’t know how to play until I joined the team!
What’s one of your favorite local businesses?
Ivy Hall ;)
